Wanted to explore Montezuma and this hotel was great base for doing it. Had tea and coffee making equipment, a dining area, and a seating area in my villa. I liked that there was a fully equipped kitchen. The management was kind, as well as the staff. The total experience was lovely, I recommend.

This place is conveniently situated close to a weekly market offering fresh fruits, with beautiful ocean views, surrounded by nature, and perched on a cliff overlooking the Pacific.

As a business traveler, I loved the stunning ocean views from the hilltop location. the wooden cabins provided a cozy and private atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. the art work in the house added a touch of beauty to the surroundings. the caretaker, Santiago, was phenomenally helpful, attending to all our needs and offering cheerful assistance. the owner, Peter, was easily reachable and provided useful recommendations for hotels and transportation. the sunrise over the ocean was worth waking up early for, and the view of the moon rising and reflecting on the ocean was simply magical.

The view and location are amazing. Peaceful and quiet place with beautiful sunrises, Spanish styled villa, garden with birds, and howler monkeys. the owner was kind and shared information about the area. Outdoor shower was a unique pleasure. Would love to come back.

I can't stress enough how much I loved the warm welcome at Montezuma Heights. From the moment I walked through the gates, I felt like I was in my own private jungle paradise. The hand-hewn splendor of the cabin, built entirely from reclaimed materials, added so much character and beauty to my stay. The outdoor living areas were a dream, and I loved the sense of being on a ship's bow while perched on the edge of the bluff. The privacy and lush surroundings made it the perfect escape.

While everything about my stay was amazing, there was one small unexpected surprise. I didn't realize that I would be sharing the outdoor facilities with guests staying in a nearby cabin.

our honeymoon trip in montezuma was already fantastic, but staying at heights took it to another level. the view from our cabin was breathtaking, with hummingbirds and flowers surrounding us. the house was a work of art, and waking up to the sunrise over the ocean was magical. the caretaker, santiago, was amazing and peter, the owner, was so helpful and responsive. it was a truly relaxing and romantic weekend.

Wifi wasn't working.

We had a bit of an adventure getting to Montezuma Heights, with Google directing us through back roads full of potholes. However, coming up the road from Montezuma beach provided a much smoother and more picturesque route. The view from the property is absolutely stunning, with hummingbirds feeding on the flowers just outside our cabin. It was the perfect spot for day trips and exploring the area.
